Religious marriage is one of the more popular topics in the US.
According to a recent study, 37% of Americans consider it to be a “religion of peace” or “religiously inspired.”
A poll released by the Pew Research Center earlier this year showed that 56% of respondents believe that the traditional Christmas celebration in the United States is “unacceptable” and 38% believe that religious institutions in the country are “unconstitutional.”
However, according to the National Association of Evangelicals, the “majority of Americans (68%) agree that the holidays should be a time to reflect and celebrate their Christian faith, and 78% agree that Christians should not be forced to participate in religious ceremonies.
The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People also said that more than 90% of people believe that Christmas is a time for family, community, and children to gather, but they also added that “some people are concerned that churches may not be able to provide a welcoming environment for children who are experiencing difficulties at home.””
As more Americans celebrate Christmas, we should be mindful of how they are celebrating it and make sure our religious freedoms are protected,” the National Atheist Party said in a statement.
