How ‘religious’ is Trump’s religious advisor? | The Daily Caller

President Donald Trump’s new religious advisor, David Plouffe, has said that Trump “is a very religious person” and that he is “a Christian.”

Trump made his religious advisor announcement during a White House event on Friday, and Ploufe said that he was a “very religious person.”

In an interview with The Washington Post, Ploufce said, “I think I’ve learned to say the words of faith, and to speak with confidence of the faith and to not let people tell me how to think.”

Plouffce said that “the first thing I would say is that President Trump is a very, very religious man.

He believes in God, he believes in the Bible, he knows about God, and he’s very much in tune with what the Bible says.”

The religious advisor also said that the President “talks about God in a way that I don’t think anyone else does.”

“The President doesn’t talk about himself in a very specific way, but I think that speaks to the strength of the relationship between President Trump and the people of this country, and also speaks to how strong our faith is in this country,” Plouefe said.
